Each individual must carefully review and identify his/her unique requirements, as well as consider the practicality of these requirements within the transportation industry to determine which opportunities are best suited to them. All services provided by Kennedy, as outlined below, are performed concurrent with one another.

Work Placement

Kennedy will assist its clients to obtain work by facilitating a hauling agreement with a freight carrier. Kennedy works with several trucking companies and attempts to match individuals with work that best suits his/her needs and qualifications. Thus work is provided for the individual to commence operations on an on-going base. This agreement will constitute a sub-contractor relationship exclusively between the individual and the transport company. The transport company will pay the individual directly on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

Kennedy will facilitate the necessary paperwork for an individual to commence operation; such as licensing, permits, and insurance. If an individual doesn't have enough experience Kennedy has training instructors available to operate with the individual when the individual commences operation. These training instructors will help the individual to get started and learn every aspect of the business.

The majority of goods that are transported are dry freight loaded on skids. Work is available for cargo/cube vans, straight trucks, and tractor/trailers.

Factors to be considered when introducing individuals to specific carriers are the desired geographical area of operation (Canada or US) and frequency one wishes to be away from home (short or long-haul destinations). If an individual prefers to be home every night local cartage or short-hauls within Ontario can be arranged. The location where an individual lives, as well as his/her qualifications, will also contribute to the availability of work and the geographical area of operation.

Financing/Leasing Program

To structure a personalized program for an individual various criteria are taken into consideration such as: credit history, net worth/asset base, previous experience (owning and/or operating a commercial truck), type of work desired and the amount of start-up capital available. All of this will be reviewed during the initial meeting at Kennedy’s offices.

By having a network of financial institutions with which to work, Kennedy attempts to obtain the best financial proposal possible based on the individual’s qualifications. As a result, Kennedy frequently is able to offer to its client more than one financial package for consideration containing varying rates, terms and underwriting criteria, etc.

Equipment

Kennedy will provide, through its affiliates and their vast dealer network, equipment that is properly outfitted for the hauling agreement and the financial package the individual qualifies for. Various makes and models are available to the individual based upon availability
